Mai Yaghi is a Diabetes Educator with more than 15 years of clinical experience across leading hospitals and healthcare facilities in Abu Dhabi. Since 2019, she has specialised in diabetes education and supports people living with different types of diabetes, including gestational diabetes.

Mai holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Fatima College of Health Sciences, affiliated with Griffith University. She is a licensed Registered Nurse and a certified Health Educator.

Her practice includes diabetes self-management education, insulin-dose adjustment based on continuous glucose monitoring, glucose-meter and insulin-pump data, carbohydrate counting, injectable and oral diabetes therapies, and education on weight-management injections.

She is also a certified insulin-pump trainer with experience supporting Omnipod DASH, Medtronic MiniMed 780G and Accu-Chek Solo systems.
